War in Juarez
This past weekend I learned of a massacre that happened in our sister city. There was a birthday party going on for a fourteen year old when unknown gun men burst in shooting. They left a number of people dead and others wounded. I think the drug violence between the cartels are still the number one source of killings in Juarez but the second highest are these individual incidences. They are separate attacks that every one assumes are cartel killings but most likely are not. If ever were a time to kill in Juarez it would be now. This is probably the mind set of people that want to settle old scores. The law enforcement is at there weakest right now due to all this violence so all these gang members and criminals are taking advantage of this.

its terrible how people have to live in an urban warfare. those innocent are those who have lost everything for just a misconception of who the person really was

ReplyDeleteIt sad to know that our sister city is going through so much chaos, while nobody is able to fix thing so peace could arise again. I wonder how this is going to end.
ReplyDeleteIt's an interesting point of view, you might be right. Living in Juarez has become an obvious danger, and the number of families moving away is constantly growing. It is sad, to just stand and watch while an entire city is slowly falling apart.
